Normal toaster ovens are tested and judged in a few ways. The main way is the convection or the spread of heat throughout the oven. The goal of manufacturers is to have their toaster oven heat as evenly as possible. Also, bread toasters that are usually found in resturants (the ones that slide the bread out) are tested on the mechanics of the conveyor belt that moves the bread and how evenly the bread gets toasted. Our modification doesn’t affect the way the toaster oven cooks so we didn’t have to test the heating elements of our toaster oven. We just tested the mechanics of the tray and the pros and cons of our modification
